Breakfast with Santa

On December 11, Ashley, Brandon, London and I had breakfast with Santa at Millenial Falls Reception Center in Draper.  Upon arrival, London was given her choice of Santa Hat or Reindeer Antlers. . . guess which she picked?
Then we were led to our very own table for a yummy breakfast, complete with M&Ms, chocolate chips and whip cream for the pancakes.  Although, London went right for the sausages!
While we ate, Santa's elves came by to make balloon animals.  Although London threw her for a loop when she requested a "Star".  Although the Star was joined later by a collection of the balloon characters she collected, which included a Snow Man and two Penquins.

Santa finally arrived at 9:30 and made a stop at each table to great the kids.  When he approached our table he asked London if she knew she was named after a city and of course, she did.  Then he asked all the kids to join him around his chair and he lead us all in Christmas carols.  London was lucky enough to be invited up by Santa to help shake sleigh bells, when he said, "Will the little girl named after a city come up and help me?"  That's when we knew it HAD to be Santa or how could he have remembered that??

While we waited our turn for a picture on Santa's lap, we wandered the garden and took a lot of pretty photos and kept the eleves busy making the afore mentioned Balloon Characters.   It was finally our turn and after London got her picture with Santa and told him what she wanted for Christmas. " Zooballs (sp?) and a baby sister!"  Santa told her he didn't deliver babies, then he looked at Ashley's belly and said "I'll see what I can do."  Santa was kind enough to pose for a picture with all of us.

Then it was off for grand finale - Face Painting!  It was a fun morning and it was just the thing needed to get into the Christmas spirit.  Ho Ho Ho!!!
